“K” Line (India) Shipping Private Ltd (KLISP) became a member of Indian National Shipowners' Association (INSA) in late January.
Since 2014 KLISP has been working as an Indian firm involved in coastal and global trade process. Besides, the company has been fulfilling the terms of the long-term CVC contract signed with an Indian Charterer.
At the end of last year, KLISP acquired an Indian Bulk Carrier (“GANGA K” vessel) which is 58,000 DWT. This deal gave the company the right to join the association.
Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd. hopes the acquisition will allow affiliated Indian company to cooperate with national Shipping industry and operate on local routes more efficiently.
